(iv) Technology Commercialization: Pollution abatement technology for carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide for PIL rubber chemicals (NOCIL), Ecofriendly processes were developed for recovery of phenyl acetic acid (360 tpa), methyl acetoacetate (200 tpa), and pivalic acid (300 tpa), and manufacture of pivaloyl chloride (150 tpa), for for Kopran Ltd, a pharmaceutical company, Development of new processes for the manufacture of 2,2,6,6-trimethyl piperidinol and anti-markownikoffhydrobromination of α-olefins for Bombay Oil Industries Ltd., production of 10800 TPA of benzyl alcohol from benzyl chloride without the use of alkali with a total recycle of hydrogen chloride, which is also used for the production of alkyl chlorides for M/S Gwalior Chemical Industries Ltd.
